About Us
Owner and Master Electrician, Bodi Gauksson, earned his journeyman electrician license in 2014 while working for a leading commercial electrical contractor in Denver, Colorado. During his six years with the company, he gained extensive hands-on experience across a wide range of commercial electrical projects.
In 2019, Bodi relocated with his family to Nebraska, where he continued his career with a respected local commercial contractor while working toward obtaining his electrical contractor’s license.
Today, Bodi brings years of technical expertise, reliability, and attention to detail to every project. At True Light Electric, we are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship, exceptional customer service, and safe, dependable electrical solutions.

Kendra Gauksson is the office manager of True Light.
Working part time behind the scenes to make sure emails get answered, invoices get sent and social media stays up to date.
Outside of work, her time is spent attending her 3 children's sporting activities and school events.
She also enjoys going to the gym, playing pickleball and spending time with friends.
Grayson Essink is a 4th year electrical apprentice. He started his apprenticeship with a local commercial contractor in February 2023.
He started working for True Light Electric on January 2026 and looks forward to receiving his journeyman license in 2027.
He enjoys all things sports, hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife and two kids.
